What are we looking for
We are looking for a talented Product Designer with at least 3 years of experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires strong skills in UI/UX design, design systems, prototyping, and user research, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities
- Work across the entire design stack, including speccing projects; designing workflows, detailed interactions, and high-fidelity visuals; and ensuring quality implementation.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to build the design function at Neem which include establishing design methodologies, streamlining design processes and bringing in best practices to help create a superior experience of our embedded finance platform
- Work closely with product and engineering teams both at Neem & our customers (digital platforms) to design and ship several 0->1 embedded finance products.
- Work closely with our digital platforms to embed Neem financial products such as accounts, lending, savings etc into their product stack.
- Conduct user research and leverage the data (from usability studies, surveys, interviews, etc.) to inform design choices.
- Act as a champion for good user experience, sharing best practices and demonstrating curiosity about customer needs and behaviours.
- Proactively partner with engineers, our product team and our Neem customers (digital platforms) on prioritising and sequencing development, and defining roadmaps.
- Foster collaboration with your peers by actively engaging in design feedback sessions and working together to align on larger product goals and initiatives.
- Enable teams to build products without friction through detailed documentation of guidelines, recommendations, and processes.
- Help cultivate the design culture of the team and the company, including championing user-centric design thinking across the company and maintaining a collaborative design process.
You should apply if
- You have 3+ years of proven experience in product design (web & mobile).
- You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- You are a systems thinker - possessing experience and interest in the entire design stack, including UX research, UI/UX, visual design, and interaction design.
- You have experience in high-growth startups, building minimum viable products from scratch, and a track record of designing successful products that users love.
- You have an understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
- You have experience working with developers and knowledge of responsive design.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
